The engineering project cost management is to fulfill the requirement of project quality and time limit under contract, to achieve the predetermined cost goal, we can adopt methods of plan, organization, control and coordination, we can achieves the profit goal by technology, economy and management methods.As the competition in domestic and international projects gets fiercer, we should become acquainted with advanced international engineering project cost management methods as soon as possible. We should also summarize advanced experience in project cost management, put forward new methods in project cost management, so we can enhance economy benefit of project corporation in an all-round way.This paper explains the basic conception of the project cost management at first, and analyzes the current domestic situation and summarizes the problems we meet. Then the paper gives a brief introduction of three factors which affect cost management best: project procurement, project quality, project schedule. This paper also gives detailed introduction of the three factors and gives out scientific methods of the three factors.During the concrete introduction process, this paper proposed several concrete methods and present relevant examples. In the end, this paper present specific project cost management methods, especially about procurement management, quality management, schedule management, which based on a project from the Global Choice Construction Project Management Consulting Co.,Ltd. I also list the result of management in this way.
