With the rapid development of knowledge economy, and the swift growth of technology trade, technology licensing has been playing an increasingly important role in innovation commercialization and diffusion in various industries. The introduction and absorption of advanced technology, is a shortcut of accelerating enterprise development and cultivating independent R&D capacity. In the technology licensing process, the critical issue is seeking the licensing equilibrium in which all participating members can maximize their profits. However, there are hardly any prior theoretical model studies on technology licensing in today's china. In this paper, we build a model of technology choice under licensing mechanism, from which we analyzes the impact of technology choice over technology licensing. In considering the technology spillover, we establish a decision-making model about technology imitation and technology licensing, then we obtain the more excellent technology introduction approach by comparing the total profit of technology imitation with technology licensing. In addition, the paper also analyzes the main impacting factors of technology licensing process, from the view of enterprises who prepare to introduce technology. At last, five measures for improving the effectiveness of technology licensing are given.
