The project of 1.2 million t/a S-Zorb FCC Gasoline Sulfur Removal Unit is the antecedent project of SINOPEC Changling Company engineering with adjusting oil refining structure and improving products quality during the eleventh five-year plan period.It expands the annual processing capacity and advanced processing capacity,establishes the solid equipment,increases the amount of processing.It is also an important action to expand production capacity, add highvalued products,when we joined WTO,with the market open to oil end product wholesale and retail,and face the keen competition from both domestic and foreign market.The thesis conducted the evaluation of the project's technology and economy together with demonstrations by using the general principle and method of project feasibility study.Firstly,it demonstrated the necessity of the investment on the S-Zorb Gasoline Sulfur Removal Unit,aiming at adjusting oil refining structure and improving products quality and optimizing the capacity of Changling Refinery.Secondly, the conclusion of the project comes that the project is technologically advancedand feasible after comparison and analysis of the technical plan and demonstration of advancement and feasibility of the technology. Thirdly,it conducted market analysis and forecast.It stress the analysis and forecast of the market avoiding the situation of not enough study on the raw material supply,product market and the depth of investigation with the result that products shall have no market share while the project is feasible.Through the forecast,it finds out the products shall have more shares with intense competition and the raw material shall have enough supply and with wild market foregroud after execution.Fourthly,on the above study and analysis,the thesis conducted financial evaluation using financial method.It conducted financial analysis on the new project financial static and dynamic indexes,i.e. investment recovery period,return on investment,net present value and internal rate return based on the"yes-no"method on the cash flow.It also draws out the financial statement,like investment estimation chart,cost estimation chart,loss and gainsestimation chart,statement of cash flow etc.The conclusion of the financial analysis is that therenovation project is feasible economically.Fifthly,it analyzed the sensitivity of the financial indexes to the prices of product and raw material and investment with multifarious sensibility study of raw material and product price movement.The conclusion of the sensitivity study is that the project is comparatively strong in facing risk but sensitive to the price of both the raw material and product.Through a huge amount of data documents,the thesis provides a scientific base for the project investment decision after detailed calculation,evaluation and demonstration of the feasibility and existing problems of the project from technology,economy and market.
