A Policy Study On Adjustment Of Basic Pension Of Retirees From Enterprises In Hunan Province

The basic pension adjustment system has been established in our country, which is to make regular adjustments on pensions of retirees of enterprises. The purpose of the system is to guarantee basic lives of retirees, make them live stably, decently and happily. The system makes it possible for retirees to enjoy sufficiently achievements of social progress and economical development on the one hand and have stable living standards without the impact of rising prices. However, the problem is how to realize the system orderly, scientifically and reasonably? By analyzing pension adjustment programs in the previous years and moderate adjustment index of the public pool pension under the specific circumstances of reform on pension in Hunan Province, the paper aims to set up a scientific model on retirees' pension augmentation and distribution and form a scientific pension adjustment system in the basis of relevant theories of economics on welfare.
