The Contract Study On The Several Technical Innovation Models In China's Automobile Industry

In the process of China's automobile industry growing up, China's automobile industry didn't become the strong automotive manufacturing country because of the low level of technology and the weak technological innovation capability. So enhancing technological innovation capability of China's automobile industry was put on the strategic agenda. In the 11th Five-Year plan, it put forward that the upgrade of China's automobile industry must rely on independent innovation. At present, technological innovation funds, personnel, policy' constraint has been weaken. But the technological innovation model becomes the big problem. So we must the analysis and research the China's auto industry model of technological innovation.1 ContentsIn the first it illustrates the carding process of China's automobile industry technical innovation model. As present, China has come to the stage of diversified technological innovation model. There are two reasons to explain it. The one is that China's automobile industry come into the unprecedented prosperity stage and it explores the material basis and a strong driving force. The other is that there are some problems still seriously impacting on industrial growth.Because of space constraints and research materials, this paper is unable analyzed the each technological innovation model of China's automobile industry. Therefore, this paper selected three technical innovation typical automobile enterprises (Shanghai Volkswagen, Chang'an, Chery) to analyze their technological innovation model. Shanghai Volkswagen' model is based on the imported technology, internal R & D between joint enterprise and independent technological innovation. Chang'an enterprise adopted imported technology, internal R & D with advance enterprise and independent technological innovation. Chery enterprise's model is based on imitation . internal R & D cooperation and independent technological innovation. Through above analyses it's easy to know that they used the model of technological innovation contains import innovation, imitation innovation, cooperation innovation, independent innovation. In this paper, it mainly talks about the four technological innovation models. Through a comparative analysis, we found that the models of technological innovation are different in achieving the path, characteristics and condition. This difference make every technological innovation model has its unique use scope.2 ConclusionsFirst, China's automobile industry has been to a pluralistic model of technological innovation stage since the late 1990s.Secondly, technological innovation model must be accord to its capacity. At the same time, when the enterprise is on the different stages of development, its technical innovation model is not the same. Even at the same time, the enterprise also can be used several technological innovation models.Third, the four innovative models that import innovation, imitation innovation, cooperation innovation, independent innovation are effective models of technological innovation to achieve technological progress and technological innovation capability development. However, the pattern of technological innovation has a certain differences, for example, realized path, characteristics and realizing condition. So each technological innovation model has its unique scope.3 RecommendationsFirst, resolve the problem of each technical innovation model. With the import innovative models, the core part is learning. Innovation in imitation mode, we must emphasize the passive imitation to innovation initiative role conversion. In the mode of cooperation innovation, it must pay more attention to fostering R & D capability in cooperation. In the dependent innovative mode, it stresses the heavy technological innovation ability.Second, China's main automobile industry is corporation innovation now. And China's main automobile industry should enter to the full independence development stage gradually.Third, we must actively construct a comprehensive innovation system to the auto industry overall technological progress.However, it is difficult to access relevant data of China's auto enterprises in technological innovation difficult. So the contrast can't involve the quantitative comparison .It is the problem which need to research further in the future.
