| Since 1985, the exports quantity of our electromechanical products have increased from US$1.68 billion to US$426.75 billion in 2005, and its increasing rate is up to 30%. In 2006, the export quantity is US$549.42 billion, and it covers 56.7% of our nation's total export. The electromechanical products exports quantity last year is US$701.17 billion, which had increased by 27.6% compared to the total exports of 2006, and the electromechanical products export surplus is US$202.19 billion during this year, which covers 77.1% of the total export surplus. So, the electromechanical products trade have important contribution to export and our economic development. Our electromechanical production have a more wide market, for the structure of electrical and mechanical industry have be greatly improved, and these production have more compete ability, but at the same time, the exports have to face more technical barriers, for more and more nations pay more attention to the environment protection, and the import nations have strict technical standards and regulations.One by one nations set TBT firstly in order to reach their aim of continuable improvement and health demand of Green Economy. Secondly some nations and districts use the WTO regulations to restrict their import from other countries for the reason of protecting their environment and people's health. In this way, the products cost can be increased. And some countries can protect their own industries not to be impacted by products imported from foreign countries. For our electromechanical products, the TBT stop our exports to them. As a new way of trade barrier, technical barriers have their own characteristics and their reasonable faces, and so it made some countries using them as an excuse to set some unreasonable technical barriers. Now more and more countries have set lots of technical barriers to us, and the forms of TBT change very quickly.This thesis starts from introducing concept of TBT, and then use some inks to talk about the reasons why so many countries popularly use this way to control their import. I have listed their reasons from subjective and objective faces. In the second part of my thesis I analysis the economy effect of TBT, and study the short effect to the control price and import quantity, and introduce the different effect with quota restrict. In the long time, technical barriers have dynamically effects to improve products quality. Technical barriers have lots of forms and changes quickly, these can be survival only by their technical innovation. In the third part of my thesis, I introduce the mainly technical barriers that our electromechanical product faces. For most of our electromechanical products are exported to America, EU and Japan, and also these three districts have set the most of technical barriers to us, and they have the most perfect technical barriers standards, so they have effect our export most seriously. Latter, I use some inks to talk the effects of technical barriers to our export. Technical barriers likes double-edged sword, and we should not just see the face of the negative impact of them, we should also know well the positive impacts. At the end of my thesis, I list some ways how to deal with the technical barriers. I propose some advice from the government and cooperation aspects, and they have some reference value on improving the competitiveness of our electromechanical products. |
