The insurance intermediary is the inalienable important component of insurance market, and is to contact the tie between insurers and insured. Through the professional service of the insurance intermediary, it will help to realize circulation and consumption of the insurance goods. However, in our country, because the time for development of insurance intermediary is relatively short, and the development environment of market is unripe. It leads to the fact that the development of the insurance intermediary is very nonstandard, and loss of credibility is serious. The insurance intermediary's loss of credibility already becomes the bottleneck which restrains the insurance of our country from developing healthily and fast. Moreover, in our country it is short of specialized research on the insurance intermediary's loss of credibility at present. So, this dissertation regards the insurance intermediary's loss of credibility as the research object, and hopes to offer some theoretical directions for the solution of the insurance intermediary's loss of credibility, consequently accelerates the development of the insurance intermediary market.Firstly, this dissertation has summarized the research results about loss of credibility in our country, and points out that reason analysis about loss of credibility mainly concentrated in two aspects: one is analyzing from ethical credibility, the other one is analyzing from economical credibility. Under the market economy condition, we think research on the insurance intermediary's loss of credibility form economical credibility has the significance. This is precisely research angle of view in this dissertation.Secondly, through analysis about development state of insurance intermediary, we find that insurance agent is principal part of the insurance intermediary of our country. So when we analyze reason of the insurance intermediary's loss of credibility, we take insurance agent as the example.Thirdly, we take insurance agent as the center, using the game theory to analyze credibility behavior choice between insurance agent and insured, and using the principle-agent theory to analyze credibility behavior choice between insurance agent and insurer. Then we draw the conclusion: the macroscopic factors which cause insurance agent's loss of credibility are loss of insurance agent's credibility information, the low cost of loss of credibility and the low professionalism degree of insurance agent; the microscopic factors which cause insurance agent's loss of credibility are the superficiality development idea of insurer and the not rational insurance consumption of insured.Finally, in view of above analysis we put forward the corresponding policy proposal.
