A Study On Procurement Coordination Of Supply Chain In Internet-based E-business Environment

From 2000, Chinese manufacturing is booming, which aims to become "Manufacturing Center of World". Manufacturing enterprises must refine their kernel processes to reinforce core competence. Instead of producing by themselves, enterprises purchase many resources from suppliers, whom are also members of supply chain. Thus the management of procurement is more and more important. As the members of supply chain, enterprises can coordinate with each other to optimize their benefit from procurement.However, it is difficult to coordinate in supply chain; especially decentralized supply chain is not under control of any enterprise. Each supply chain member has its own objective and state of information and decisions that can be made use to optimize its own interest rather than the entire supply chain system performance. Moreover, incompatibility of these enterprises systems caused high cost of coordination.This thesis which researches on theories of coordination and supply chain management, illuminate 4 interdependencies between supplier and purchaser with the choice of e-business procurement models, analyses the common problem of procurement coordination. Then this thesis proposes a solution of procurement coordination of supply chain in Internet-based e-business environment, designs the information sharing structure, estimatation structure of Suppliers and incentive scheme of procurement coordination. A trial SOA system architecture using Web Services is also developed to experiment.By theory analysis and trial system experiment, coordination of procurement is proved its feasibility and efficiency.
