For our country, service economy is emerging field. In developed countries, the service economy has become the backbone of economic growth. Through its various service functions, services become the organic linkage of social production, distribution and consumption. It speeds up the operation of passenger flow, logistics, information flow and capital flow, and plays an important role in advancing the process of industrialization and modernization. Under the context of China's accession to the WTO, the service sector is inevitable comprehensive opening to the outside world, competition has initially taken shape, the pace of foreign capital entering all the major sectors has been quickened. Therefore, the quantitative description of the development of the service economy in a particular region, will contribute to a correct evaluation of the service economy competitiveness, and provide objective basis for improving the level of the services competitiveness.Service economy Competitiveness is an integrated system, which covers service itself, as well as many related elements, relations and actions. Service economy competitiveness should be evaluated systematically.According to this requirement, this paper has established a multi-level evaluation index system, which reflects the level of competitiveness of the economy of the samples areas from different sides, calculates the service economy competitiveness score of the sample area through quantitative statistical analysis and provides objective basis the actual level of service economy development and raising the level of service economy competitiveness.
