Research On The Environmental Carrying Capacity In The Renewal Process Of Meijiawu In Hangzhou

As the tourism industry develops rapidly in recent years, some problems begin to arise between the village of scenic spot and tourism development , for example, disordered tourism system, lost village characteristic and serious environmental pollution, which needs us to reconsider the renewal problem of scenic spot village. Tourism environmental carrying capacity is an important index to measure whether tourism environment coordinates with tourism development. It is of great theoretical and practical importance to explore village renewal of scenic spot based on the theory of tourism environmental carrying capacity.In this paper, the renewal problem that the village of scenic spot will face under tourism background is described firstly. Then, the concept system of tourism environmental carrying capacity is put forward and summarized theoretically. The specific index system of tourism environmental capacity is also given. Secondly, taking Meijiawu in Hangzhou as a typical example of the village of scenic spot, various characters of Meijiawu's tourism development during four different stages are analyzed and potential problems which tourism development may confront under the new historical condition are proposed. In addition, the main limiting factors about tourism development are also presented through the quantitative and qualitative analysis on four branch capacities of tourism environmental carrying capacity. Finally, the basic ideas and concrete strategies on the regulation of tourism environmental carrying capacity of Meijiawu are given.The main differences between the studies on tourism environmental carrying capacity of Meijiawu in this paper and previous research are:1. The total capacity is not calculated by simply combining branch environmental carrying capacity. Instead, through analyzing different impact factors of different branch capacity, environmental carrying capacity is regulated by controlling the core impact factors.2. The regulation of environmental carrying capacity is explained to be the embodiment of renewal. The theoretical analysis of environmental carrying capacity is used to guide the renewal of the village of scenic spot under new situation.3. The regulation of environmental carrying capacity is considered as a long-term and dynamic process rather than a single stage task. Different strategies should be applied according to different problems in each stage under the guidance of the theory of environmental carrying capacity.
