In this paper we did research on aquatics sports tourism in Qingdao area on the opportunity of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. We present our idea with document, expert interview, survey and mathematical statistics method.In this paper we propose the perspective of sustainable development of aquatics sports tourism and the possibility of building city brand of sailing capital. It is necessary for Qingdao to establish special aquatics sports tourism management organization, priding with policy supports by the government and developing aquatics sports tourism with enterprise and society together. A professional marketing troop is needed to effectively design and advise aquatics sports tourism to promote the development of the whole market. The Qingdao city should have its own aquatics sports tourism products according to the "4p" theory and survey result. The prices of products should be diverse and satisfy different kinds of people. The travel agencies need to pack aquatics sports tourism and have its own special tour route to attract most of the tourists. Meanwhile university students are the major essential consumers. We conclude that different kinds of marketing methods should be used in promoting the project and network marketing would have unexpected effect.
