Current Status Analysis And Core Competitive Power Research On The International Logistics In China

Logistics industry, in China and around the world, has entered a stage of fast growth. Its development degree has become one of important ingredients of a country's modernization and comprehensive national power. It is compared as an "accelerator" to increase economy and "the third profit source". Logistics and supply chain management have become a focus in the world business. International logistics is geographically extended and enlarged compared domestic logistics, promoted by the development of international trade and transnational companies which require higher level of international logistics support. According to statistics, presently, multinational companies have controlled 40% of the world's production volume, 50% above of the international trade and 90% of the international investment. The development and status of international trade made higher requirements for international logistics. In order to enter top 100 lists or 500 lists, or to enlarge foreign trade and enhance traps-business level, large enterprises in China have to enhance the supportive capability of China's international logistics.This paper, based on authoritative information and latest data, firstly made a general analysis on international logistics, its latest development, and logistics in other developed countries. Then the paper made a focal point on China's international logistics, its status and problems, and its development after WTO entry. In the end, the paper put forward some strategies for international logistics in terms of China's circumstances. In strategy discussion, especially the evaluation system is built up to international logistics system and core competencies of third international logistics. Because international logistics system is still not perfect, the writer try to use layer analysis method to evaluate the international logistics system, selecting the representative index of the international logistics, making sure the changing trend of the logistics system to gradually raise the international logistics work level. The index includes clean property rate of income, average charges of logistics ton expenses, average logistics equipments utilization, average intact rate of the logistics merchandise and customer satisfaction rate. The writer thinks that the above six index can body the good and bad degree of each aspect. Making use of them can get a synthetically evaluation of the international logistics system. For comprehensive evaluation model of the third international logistics of core competencies to business enterprise, the paper uses the layer analysis method to assign the power of each index. Basic way is like follows. Then in compliance with comparison of each other in the AHP scale standard to same layer index, it makes sure its relative importance to build up the judgment matrix. Under the rules, foreign logistics providers have entered China one after another, 2/3 of the world top 10 retailers settled in China, and their purchase center established in China. They have great advantage in business and management, such as large amount of capital, regular operations, rich experience, high quality service and professional personnel. On the contrary, logistics in China started very late and has some inherent problems during the development. Therefore, China must spare no time to develop international logistics so as to compete with foreign companies. In a fierce competition with overseas logistics service provider, China's international logistics industry is encountering increasing pressures and opportunities. It is wise to make a timely overall strategic planning in this respect so as to facilitate a healthy development of international logistics industry, and further to promote China's foreign trade and international business.
