Accompanying with the world manufacturing enterprises clustering, China has been a new world manufacturing center involving severe world-wide competition. In order to capture the competition advantages and market share, the competition among the manufacturing enterprises have expanded to the whole supply chain. Meanwhile, for occupying the dominant position in the competition, the foreign industry enterprises introduced their own logistics management modes, furthermore, these new entrants must face drastic competition and incompatible dismastment with their Chinese peers unavoidably. So it is quite urgent for these foreign enterprises to find the answer to the issues like how do manufacturing enterprises adapt the new logistics competition and select suitable logistics modes. Taking effective logistics management, the node enterprises could aggregate and integrate the most competitive economic resource, exert overall function, enhancing market competition advantages. Logistics organization members dedicate their time and energy to the following issues: how to maintain the advantages of enterprises integration and to avoid the contradictions among other enterprises and to evaluate logistics performance. Accordingly with these, there has crucial theory value and practical significance for getting detailed and systematic researches on the modes selection of logistics and the performance evaluation of supply chain.Based on these issues, the article introduces detailed analysis into five factors:(1) through studying Chinese and foreign logistics management and the third party logistics (TPL) articles, we comb the related researches concerning with these issues. (2) After introducing the basic principle of supply chain management (SCM), we put the TPL into the supply chain network system, and take research on the operation of the TPL from two aspects, the node enterprises and the whole supply chain system, combining with the traditional function logistics, the fourth party logistics and the fifth party logistics. In the integration of supply chain, as logistics and information flows, cash and information flows have already realized integrating management, the integration between logistics and cash flows has already become a stringent problem. On the basis of clarifying the concept, we launch study on the expectancy model and the feasible modes of the finance, transportation and warehouse (FTW) in the value-added logistics service. (3) We imply a fuzzy AHP method combined with grey relation analysis into the fundamental selection about the self-support, the third party logistics and the logistics alliance to analyze the criterion factors and their sub criterion factors. Grounding on the 6th edition report about logistics market and annual (2006-2007) Chinese logistics development report, taking advantages with the available data and demonstration analysis, we find that the TPL is a suitable logistics mode for the manufactory enterprises. (4) The performance evaluation about TPL is a fuzzy and comprehensive appraisal issue, which includes qualitative and quantitative indicators concerning with the multiple objects, multiple factors, multiple levers. Basis on the performance evaluation which derives from demonstration analysis about market investigation data, customer satisfaction is the indicator that enterprises pay most attention to, and cost and profits is the indicator that enterprises need to improve urgently. (5) Basing on the indicators of operating cost and customer satisfaction, in the supply chain, channel optimization and just in time (JIT) can reduce the operational costs of core manufacturer, and making comprehensive analysis to the customers, customer knowledge management and customer relationship management can improve the customer's service in the integration of supply chain management. Furthermore, we conclude that the success of Dell's supply chain management depends on the efficient direct selling mode, the strategy of JIT and customer management through analyzing the practices of Dell's supply chain management.
