A Study On The Mode Of The Modernization Of Chinese Farmers

The socialist modernization of China has made the great achievement. With the development of socialist modernization, agriculture farmer and countryside has become the bottleneck of the socialist modernization of China. The farmers' modernization as the important content of the modernization of Three Farmer has played a great role in the socialist modernization, which has been paid much attention by many scholars. In 2006, State Department of the CPC Central Committee about advancing the construction of socialist new countryside has put forward developing socialist new farmer, which has a new view of the question of the modernization of farmer for researchers.This paper starts from the definition of the modernization of farmers, analyze the basic elements of the modernization of farmers which include production system, ways of lives and comprehensive abilities and conduct an integrated analysis on the modernization format and human's modernization format.The second part investigates the typical foreign formats of farmers' modernization and the process of exploring farmers' modernization in China. We make comparisons between Chinese and foreign formats of farmers' modernization. They shares some common experiences and basic elements including the revolution of farmland system, the improvement of productivity in countryside, the national policies of supporting and benefiting farmers, the cooperative originations for farmers and education and training. They differ in the practical background of farmers' modernization, the leading of governmental policies and the exertion of farmer's subjectivity.The third part classifies and summarizes the basic elements of farmers' modernization. By using the method of systematic functional theories, we generalize the usual format as "Four in One" format, "Four" refers to rigid environmental system, subjective system, power system and logistics system. "One" refers to the main object of realizing farmers' modernization. The paper combines the usual format of farmers' modernization and the current Chinese circumstances, re-explores the formats of farmers' modernization in China and put forward the "Four in One" format with Chinese characteristics with the power system as its central system.
