With the development of logistics, the traditional concept of considering railway transport enterprise only as a supplier of transportation is proved to be far from enough. As part of the logistics system, the relationship between the transport section and the customers is strengthened. The decision making process of freight flow organization is based on the consideration of the cost of the logistics system, from which both the transporter and the customer can benefit. There are many freight train service styles in loading area, and not only the transport cost is different for each style, but also the inventory cost afford by the demanders. Considering this kind of relationship, this problem should be solved under the logistics system, in which the inventory cost stands for the benefit of the demanders is added into the optimization process of this problem. This point of view owns a lot to expanding the study domain of freight train service in loading area. This paper addresses the inventory cost of the logistic system induced by car flow organization method respectively, on the condition of the producing process of the supplier and the consuming process of the receiver is regular and successively. Based on determining the principles and conditions required by direct transportation organization, the cost of the car flow in loading area, traveling course and unloading area is analyzed as while. In order to add the inventory cost to the optimization model, different from the previous model, three 0-1 decision variables is put forward corresponding to three freight car flow organization styles. A nonlinear 0-1 programming model considering the classification strategy for all O-D pairs in loading area in detail is build with the flow organization exclusivity and the block capacity at loading stations constraints. The model with the objective of minimizing the total cost of the logistics system, including the cost of car flow organization and the inventory cost gives a more comprehensive description of the freight flow organization problem.
