Study On The Concentration Degree Of Auditing Market On Securities In China

The structure of Chinese auditing market has changed greatly, with the completion of accounting firms breaking away from their superiors and the mergence and restructuring of accounting firms, which makes people anxiously concerns with the current situation and the developing demand of the concentration degree of the Chinese securities auditing market.On the basis of obtaining the materials of the auditing market on securities from 1997 to 2005, this research use the appraise model of the concentration rate of auditing market that is initially set up in this paper to study the concentrate degree of auditing market on securities in China. The thesis conclude that the concentration rate of auditing market on securities now is very low, but it presents a faint risen trend. This maybe generates some certain positive effects on improving the security audits quality. Through the comparing and analysis with the concentration rate of U.S.A. and France auditing market, the thesis consider that the causes of low concentration rate in our country lie in five respects such as the demand of securities audit, the historical reasons, the cultural tradition, the regulation system and the business structures. Meanwhile the thesis propose that our country should construct the auditing market structure of oligopoly through the comparation and analysis.Then the thesis set up a good quantity model of concentration rate of Chinese auditing market on securities,and direct that the current concentration rate in our country has large difference with the ideal quantity of the best model, which conclude that the concentration rate of auditing market in our country should be improved. Therefore we propose five policies suggestions in order to satisfy the current demands of raising the concentration rate of auditing market on securities in our country and setting up a healthy securities auditing market.
