With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, whether an enterprise can reasonably and effectively manage its own knowledge has become a crucial factor that can impact its access to success sufficiently. The era—in the mean time—is the era of information too; the efficiency of its business in the whole society is depending heavily on the computer software. Software enterprise is full of knowledge and technology; knowledge and its management have significant effect on the business processes and performance. Compared with other traditional products, the most prominent characteristic of software products is that software is purely intellectual product. It is precisely because of such characteristic, the software quality management process must be permeated with knowledge transfer process. The thesis aims to discover the factors of knowledge transfer at the viewpoint of software quality management, and analysis how the factors can impact knowledge transfer in turn impact the performance of enterprises. With software manufacturing enterprises as the objects, the thesis studied the mechanism of how the software quality management impacts knowledge transfer, hence, revealed its influence on the performance of enterprises. Based on the study, the thesis firstly summarized and analyzed theoretically the international as well as domestic literatures related to software quality management and knowledge transfer. Then with the actual situation in the software industry, it divided the influence factors into 4 dimensions, i.e, teamwork, quality management, the collaboration with customers and with suppliers. Then propose a concept model and hypothesis from each dimension of the impact on knowledge transfer. In the process, through a survey collected data using structural equation modeling (SEM), the application of SPSS and AMOS as analytical tools for analysis, the concept of the proposed model and assumptions were verified, thus generated The ultimate model of the impact that software quality management has on knowledge transfer. The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation between the factor that can impact the software quality management and the behavior of knowledge transfer. And also, the later has significant impact on the enterprises' performance. For software enterprises, the research results of this thesis have tremendous theoretical value, i.e. improving the quality management leads to promote the transfer of knowledge and it will eventually lead to high performance.
