The article surrounds the center of the effect of different trade including processing trade and general trade form contributing to Shanghai's economic increase. The article use the statistic data from recent years to research the characteristic of the trade form contribution to Shanghai's economic increase comparably, and these can be taken by the following index such as export output flexibility, contribution degree, contribution rate, increment rate, and adjustment to the industry structure, etc.The different main trade form takes the different effect to the region's economic increase, which behave especially at industry structure improvement. Processing trade is more likely affected by international economy, while general trade is more sensitive to the domestic policy. If we just judge from the total export contribution to the economy, academe common holds the views that general trade give more contribution to the economic increase than processing trade. The demonstration analyses in the article can get the same conclusion which academically explains the phenomenon that general trade takes higher role than processing trade does and leads to the necessity to accelerate the transformation and updating of processing trade. But when anglicizing the subdivided trade form, we can find that processing trade will take more and more contribution to the economy with the machining level improved, process form upgraded, domestic value chain lengthened, and more closed to the correlative industry.These ask the region should combine the virtue of the different trade from to drive the economy increase, which base on the fully exerting local comparative advantage.
