A Durative Development Research Of Industrial Cluster Based On Lifecycle

As a intermediary organization which is situated between the market and the enterprise (branch level organization), the industrial cluster play an active role in saving the market transaction expense and reducing the overhead charge of branch level organization. Therefore, industrial cluster attracts many researchers and decision makers in various fields such as economics, management and geography etc in theory because of its contribution to the district economy, while in the practice, it has become the hot topic on which people pay more and more attention day by day, becomes the pronoun of the multitudinous local characteristic economy. However, permeating the phenomenon of industrial clusters in various places, we can easily detect there are situation of displacing and declining in the development of some industrial clusters, which forces us to ponder the question, the sustainable development of the industrial cluster.In view of this, this paper analyzes the lifecycle rules of industrial cluster development, expatiates the risks which the clusters will face in different developing stages, puts forward the conditions needed in its durative development, sets up the durative developing model of the clusters and carries through a study of demonstration of durative development with example of the 8 cities in Shandong peninsula by using the methods including references research, comparison analysis and demonstration analysis, etc. The purpose is to present effective suggestions to realize the durative development in each stage of industrial cluster, and to make the clusters more competitive to develop the district economy persistently. This research makes up some deficiencies in durative development theory of industrial cluster and promotes studying and completing the countermeasure of durative development in city group of Shandong peninsula. Practical backgrounds and theoretical sources are analyzed in the introduction part of this dissertation; the basic frame and research methods are put forward after reviewing the concerned research results inland and abroad. Followed by the second part, this dissertation roundly discusses the correlative academic issues of industrial cluster. Firstly, it puts forward literature study and new defining to the basic conception of industrial cluster, for example, the intension, extension, classification and features, etc. Secondly, the life cycle of industrial cluster is analyzed. The classification index in each cluster developing stage is put forward mainly based on the review and remark of the clusters lifecycle research. Then the durative developments of industrial cluster are dissertated. This part clarifies the connotation of industrial cluster durative developments, analyzes the developing risks in every lifecycle stage and brings up the conditions, affected factors and evaluating model. The main content of the third part in this dissertation is general development situation of city group of Shandong peninsula. First of all, the dissertation introduces the geographical scope of Shandong peninsula. Secondly, this part filters main industrial clusters in the 8 cities of city group of Shandong peninsula and puts forward the description of geographic scope, with correlative statistics and using correlative analytical method of industrial cluster. Afterwards, it mainly introduces 5 representative industrial clusters of Shandong peninsula. Finally, the dissertation analyses the predominance and present problems of the industrial clusters in Shandong peninsula. The fourth part of this dissertation carries out a demonstrational research based on industrial clusters in city group of Shandong peninsula. Firstly, it gives a general evaluation to the capability of durative development of the 8 cities of Shandong peninsula. Aiming at the developing phase of most industrial clusters, this dissertation analyses the main affecting factors of the capacity of durative development when industrial clusters are in phases of gestation and growing. And then it brings forward countermeasures which will advance its capability of durative development. At last, this part analyses the developing statues of 4 representative industrial clusters by the form of demonstrational research and advances relevant countermeasures of development.
