Retail industry in china is facing the huge opportunity and the challenge in recent years along with the enhancement of the people's living standard and removing of restriction for foreign capital .Many experts and the scholar thought that retail industry in china has the problem of industrial security. The retail enterprise is unable to enhance market share, so they lacks the competitive power. Therefore, carrying on the appraisal and the analysis of the large-scale retail enterprise's performance has a certain practical significance. This article wants reflects large-scale retail enterprise through the research performance and its influence factor of the retail listed corporation.Firstly, this article analysis the opportunity and the challenge which as well as faced to the retail industry development to discovered the overall trend of the retail industry development, thus clarified the background which the retail listed corporation existed, and we make an analysis of the ownership, capital, place, type for listed corporations.Secondly, according to the indexes already exist, considering the actual facts, this paper designs the indexes system, and uses the main components analysis method evaluate the performance of the listed corporations in retail industry. We got a list form the result and from this list we can see some reasons may be influence the performance.Thirdly, for looking for the influence factor of retail industry deeply, we do the correlation between performance and influence factors, and we find that the type, the place, manager-hold share ratio and the scale is significantly related to the performance. The single factor analysis may not provide the model with the economic meaning, so the paper adopts the multi-factor analysis by ten indexes. Then we find that in retail industry, type, manager-hold share ratio and scale are significantly in the multi-factor analysis.At last, the article comes up with related policy suggestion to effectively improve the performance of retail listed corporations and ameliorate the management environment.
