With the development of economy and culture, peoples'living standard has improved, willingness of travel has enhanced, and so travel will translate leisure goods into necessities. On the other hand, the popularization of Internet makes shopping at home possible, which creates opportunity to develop travel e-commerce; further more, travel e-commerce doesn't need enormous logistics system for specificities of tourism industry, and doesn't need face to these biggest problems of retail e-commerce, which greatly improves service efficiency. Therefore, travel e-commerce has become the main trend for travel development. However, travel e-commerce is immature in our country, which mainly includes many problems; researches of travel e-commerce are so narrow, most of which are researched in fields of traditional tourism study, geography or website technology, that are unable to provide referenced value to online tourism corporations and consumers.This paper analyzed the current development of travel e-commerce in China from three aspects, which were the general profile of travel e-commerce, the characters of distribution and categories of travel websites, and the service functions and evaluation model of travel e-commerce, and the results of analysis showed that travel e-commerce of our country had huge development potential, but it was still in the initial stage of development, which had many problems. The comparisons of travel e-commerce between China and developed countries were showed in follows, which included service functions and operational mode of travel e-commerce, then lots of problems that blocked the development of travel e-commerce in China were picked up, in which lack of consumer trust was one of the most important. Finally, a model of antecedents of travel e-commerce was put forward, and how these antecedents affected consumers'trust were discussed in follows, which were divided into four parts, antecedents related with travel website, antecedents related with consumer, antecedents related with trade and antecedents related with environment.
