Study On The Characteristic Agriculture's Development Of Pingdingshan City

The rural areas of Pingdingshan City are the traditional agriculture regions in China, and Pingdingshan is a burgeoning industrial city. So it has some advantages in the development of characteristic agriculture. Pingdingshan can be representative in today's China, as the whole country is making efforts in the integration of industry and agriculture, and the construction of socialistic new villages. Characteristic agriculture's development is an important way to exert its local and comparative advantages, so order to realize its agriculture's modernization.This dissertation takes use of the method that integrates positive analyses and normative analyses. On the basis of summarizing the related theories, positive analyses on the development of Pingdingshan City's characteristic agriculture form the main content of the dissertation. According to the basic logic of the research, the dissertation is departed into five parts.Part 1 is the background and values of this dissertation's issue, mainly introduces the issue's values on theory and practice.Part 2 is the summary of the related theories, includes the definition of characteristic agriculture, economic theories related, and experience onthe building of characteristic agriculture's brands.Part 3 is the analyses on the advantages and disadvantages of thecharacteristic agriculture' development of Pingdingshan City, aimed atwhole comprehension on the economic resources and environment that is related with the characteristic agriculture of Pingdingshan City.Part 4 is the study on certain achievements and experience of the characteristic agriculture' development of Pingdingshan City, including aspects of the leading enterprises, yielding bases, market organizations, and sightseeing agriculture.Part 5 is on the weaknesses and some advice to the characteristic agriculture' development of Pingdingshan City. On the basis of the former theoretic and positive analyses, this part uses normative methods to find out the problems and weaknesses of the characteristic agriculture' development of Pingdingshan City, and give some operable advice.In brief, the basic conclusion of this dissertation is that characteristic agriculture can upgrade the competition power of agriculture. And in order to accele rate the development of PingdingshanCity's characteristic agriculture, efforts must be made on its integration, specialization and commercialization.
