Theoretical and practical methods were applied in this studyto identify factors which affected staff satisfaction degree.Based on the analysis of current development of travel agencyindustry, present situation of human resources management andreview of relevant literature on staff satisfaction degree, itwas concluded that these factors comprised individual attributevariables and situation variables. The individual attributevariables included 2 individual personality variables and 6demographical variables. The situation variables included workitself, work return, interpersonal relationship and enterpriseitself. In design of the study, individual attribute variables andsituation variables were taken as independent variables and thestaff satisfaction degree was taken as dependent variable to putforth the study hypothesis. In order to obtain the data requiredfor the study, scale tables and questionnaires were designedspecifically for each variable, and questionnaire surveys werecarried out. In this study following works had been done:Firstly, validity and reliability verification tests for thequestionnaire were conducted by adopting factor analytic methodto carry out structural validity test and the actual measurementfactors contained in the 4 situation variables and 2 individualpersonality variables were adjusted according to test results.Internal uniformity coefficient was used for measurement of thereliability test.Secondly, through relevant analysis it was discovered that marital status, age, corporate type of travel agency, the 2individual personality variables and the 4 situation variableswere all remarkably correlated to the staff satisfaction degree;internally-controlled personality and the corporate type oftravel agency were considerably correlated to the 4 situationvariables; the work return was evidently correlated to maritalstatus and externally-controlled personality; and the enterpriseitself was substantially correlated to the externally-controlledpersonality and working life period.Thirdly, through regressive analysis it was revealed that the4 situation variables, marital status and corporate type of travelagency have remarkable influence on the staff satisfaction degree, and the influence degree of each variable on staff satisfactiondegree was obtained through regressive equation and regressivecoefficient. Moreover, an independent sample t testing and singlefactor variance analytic method were used to analyze the influencedifference of each individual attribute variable on the situationvariables and the staff satisfaction degree. Finally, results of this study were summarized in thedissertation, and some corresponding suggestions and prospect offuture study were put forward.
