An Analysis Of Evolution Path And Regional Economic Integration In Beibu Gulf Economic Zone In Guangxi

When the Bohai Economic Zone Rim has become the third economic growth pole in China, the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Rim seems to be still in a state of marginalization. But both of them start on the same line. And the gap between the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Rim and other economic zoons becomes wider and wider. The current status is embarrassing compared to its coast line witch is one tenth of the total coast line and the only way to the sea in the southwest. The western development strategy has been implemented for more than 10 years, but the effect is not significant. The reason is the disadvantage of balanced development. The government has circled three major development of the western region as a growth pole of the western development in the "11th Five-Year" plan.. So as to promote the in-depth implementation of the western development strategy and coordinated regional development. Opening the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi is extremely important. Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi is at the forefront of connecting Fort ASEAN , and it is the only outlet to the sea in the southeast. And it is the only connection of the southeast asian economic sphere, south China economic circle and southwest China economic circle. Because of its unique geographical advantages , it takes the irreplaceable pivotal role during the process of making Construction of China-ASEAN free economies. With the opening of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region , promoting the implementation of major strategic cooperation of pan-Beibu Gulf and considering the profound regional development strategy by the state government, popular Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone development, Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi gradually highlighted the important strategic value .How do we form a new coastal pole quickly, construct the Beibu Gulf economic circle and build sea ASEAN? That to promote regional economic integration is the current choice.Guangxi coastal economic development of the Beibu Gulf economic Zone is the "depression" ,and it is a fairly long process to make their economic integration.First of all this paper proceeds with an analysis of the theory of regional economic integration of the theoretical basis for regional economic integration. We analyze the effect on growth pole of Zones and the conditions of the shaping of the growth pole. Secondly, through analyzing the basis of reality in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi, the shaping of China's three major economic growth poles and analyzing the regional development advantages driven theory , we analyze the feasibility of regional economic integration of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi. At last, from infrastructure, construction industries, the spatial configuration and the system, we analyz the construction of regional economic integration. And also we discuss the evolution path from common laws of the Guangxi regional economic integration in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.The innovtion in my thesis lies in: because the concept of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi is put forward in March 2006 and it is short time till now, there are a few domestic experts and scholars study on this subject. And there is few papers to be published. So my thesis may be the early discussion in China...
