Study On The State Of Female Leaders' Development In China Today

With development of economy, women'status have increased. Female leaders being a research group gained more and more attention in administration field, and become a hot topic for scholars. From the comparison and research of politics participation situation between home and international female leaders, we found that: In China, the factors that hinder women to participate in politics are from society, themselves, their family, public opinion and so on. We need to pay more attention to the legislation and enforcement of law, establish and perfect the supervise organization for women'legislation, make great effort to enhance the quantity and quality of women'politics participation from society, family and themselves, remove the obstacle, in order to help their development, supply advices for government's selection and supply directions and experiments for government to change the current situation of female leaders.Leaders are civil servants who exercise leadership; female leaders are officers who take charge of some certain duties in the departments of our party and country, combine some sex theories about female leaders, conclude the development situation of modern western female leaders, base on the fact of female leaders'development, we found out that the advantages are: there is a good tradition for them to participate in politics, the number of women who participate in politic increases fast and the rate is high; women got guarantee from sound voting system and law; and there is a relax public opinion environment for women to participate in politics. It's disadvantages are: female leaders do not support women's participation in politics and their political live fully; female leaders have limited leadership, the number of those female leaders who take charge of policy decision is small. And the advantages for the development of female leaders in our country are: the consciousness of women to participate in politics is strong, the rate is increased; the form of outstanding women in female leaders has changed a lot and their quality has improved a lot. But there still have problems in the development: the number and formation of female leader are unreasonable; the quality is not good; the market economy charges them; the system of cultivation and selection is not sound. In brief, there are two basic reasons, the subjective one is about factors from themselves, the objective one is about society, system and opinion. They base on the practice in modern China, give some advices to improve female leaders'development in China, they are: change leaders'and civil servants'idea completely; establish and perfect the law system to ensure female leaders'development; perfect personnel administration system for cadre; give them more change to take charge of some important position; improve the quality of themselves, optimize the public opinion environment for their development; establish a supervise system and put more attention on the study of theory of Chinese female leaders.
