Objective: To revise the weight of Guangdong index system about high-level managerial personnel selection in state-owned enterprises. To carry on the analysis, the proof and the examination to the index system, and then propose some consummation and the enrichment suggestions on the index system.Method: This research is divided into two parts: Firstly, applying Analytical Hierarchy Process to revise the index weight of the system about high-level managerial personnel selection in state-owned enterprises. Secondly, applying the regression analysis and the factor analysis method to carry on the analysis, the proof and the examination to the index system.Conclusion: (1) About the revision of index weight: Based on the questionnaire survey data, this research adopts the analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weight. It deleted some subjective ingredients as far as possible with strict mathematics method. The final result is persuasive through the judgment matrix establishment, the sorting computation and the uniform examination. (2) About the index structure analysis: When appraisal high-level managers in the state-owned enterprises, the position competence occupies bigger weight than the former achievements. Even though there are certain relations between the position competence and the management knowledge, individual quality, the skill and ability, but it is not decided incompletely by these three factors. We should also consider some other factors, like occupational ethics.There are certain relations between the former achievements and the school record background, the work experience, but we also cannot judge superintendent's former achievements completely with these three factors. In addition, the occupational ethics is an important index when appraisal managerial personnel in state-owned enterprises.
