Express Mail Service(EMS) develops with the increasing demand for faster material exchange in China in initial stages,and it promoted to be the biggest express- business in the nation,and it is playing unshakeable role in the national economy in the last 27 years. But with the opening of the market,the foreign large-scale EMS companies have shaken its dominant role in the overseas business where EMS'smarket occupation rate has fallen Since 90's. So EMS is encountering a problem that is how to choose suitable competitive strategy to improve its competitiveness.The thesis will focus on this problem,which will definitely do some good the EMS's development.This article chooses the baud the competive strategy and the competitive advantageto be the main theory tool. First,it introduces the profile of the Guangdong EMS, including company nature, product-classification, income-constitution, transportation network, service characteristic and soon; Then it analies Guangdong EMS's superior and inferior situation from the macroscopic environment and industrial structure; Finally according the result, the article let us know the different overall competive strategy is suitable for Guangdong EMS, and expounds the concrete function strategy implementation from the brand-strategy and the talented person-strategy and so on.IF the above competive strategy is practiced, Guangdong EMS can comprehensively promote the synthesis competitive power, and the company will develop sustainably and healthly.
