China and the India are the most vigorous area in economy in the world, which are more and more important to the world's economy. Because of the adjacency of the geographical position, the similarity of the climate and the approximate stage of the economy, they export many identical commodities. India has been regarding China as one of their most dangerous rivals all the time. Discussing the competition and the complementary of trade between the two parties has great directive significance to make the correct foreign trade policy and Promoting Sino-Indian economic and trade cooperation to us.The first paper analysises the current trade situation between China and India various and Sino-Indian, Then use the trade combined index make a empirical analysis between China and India. Sino-Indian trade size is not big, but develop very quickly, moreover the trade combined degrees between China and India steady climb, In recent years the trade combined degrees between China and India have basically all surpassed 1, compare with other countries it is a very high degree, the trade dependence between China and India is increasing.In the second chapter we utilizing the revealed comparative advantage index and according to Standard International Trade Classification (SITC), on the basis of different criteria for classification, utilizing the revealed comparative advantage index of Balassa, the paper makes an analysis on the revealed comparative advantage and make a simple analysis of it's reasons.In the third chapter we utilizing Trade Complementarity index and according to Standard International Trade Classification (SITC), on the basis of one-digit double-digit classification ,utilizing Trade complementarity index, the paper makes an analysis on the Trade complementarity and make a simple analysis of it's reasons.In the Fourth chapter adopting the export similarity index, the paper analyses the trade state of China and India from dimensions of market and product, shows that the export market and the structure of export products are highly similar between China and India and there is intense competition in the international market, But in recent years the export similarity index showed a downward trend shows that the competition is moving toward relaxation.Finally, on the base of the previous analysis drawn the conclusions of this paper, and make a number of recommendations on the basis of conclusions to promoting the development of Sino-Indian trade and Coperation, the ultimate aim is to prevent conflicts.Make full use of the favorable factors that promote the development of bilateral trade, and constantly explore new areas of coperation ,and make both sides benefit from the ever-expanding trade.
