From the year 2002, China has concluded agreements of Free Tade Area with ASEAN, Chile, Hongkong, Macow respectively. At the same time, Peferencial Trade arrangements between China and Republic of Korea, India, some developing countries both in South Asia and Africa also come into force. Negotiations about such or similiar issues are undergoing between China and New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Gulf Cooperation Council. This essay including a study into the background of Chinese activities in carrying out Regional Economic Integration, and the impact to the development of China.The eassy contains four chapters. In first chapter, definition and type of Regional Economic Intergration are given, followed with reletive theories. And background of economic and trade both in the world and in China, of changes in international relationship among countries, which form the circumstance for China to entering into Regional Economic Integration, are described in Chapter Two. The question of why China is keen on entering into Regional Economic Intergration has also been answered here.Chapter Three lays out the agreements on Free Trade Area and Preferential Trade arrangements singed between China and other countries or regions, followed with study in impact of such agreements and arrangements on foreign trade, foreign economic corporation and FDI to China. Characteristics about such activities taken by China are coming next. Paragraphes in Chapter Four illustrates the impact to China about entering into Regional Economic Integration. At present, promotions in economic and foreign trade are not so distinctly, but a peaceful neighbouringhood has been built up through economic corporation which means much more for China's rising up. Advices on developing Regional Economic Integration are also given in this part.
