Endowment insurance, as an important social security mechanism, has a close relationship with national economy, politics and culture. Since 1980s, influenced by financial crisis and population aging, more and more governments, including developed countries and undeveloped countries, are aware of the importance of endowment insurance and make decisions to perfect it. Nowadays, Chilean pensions in privately sets a good example for most developed countries to revolutionize their endowment insurance, such as the United States and the British. It seems that it is a popular trend to implement pensions in privately so as to solve a series problems, e.g. population aging.Although more and more governments have taken the pension in privately for granted a satisfactory mechanism, which propels the economic development and integrates the capital market, it has also defects, such as the high management cost. Based on the above analysis, the thesis puts forwards it is necessary to upgrade the importance of pensions in privately, furthermore, to balance its virtues and defects, of which aim is to play its positive role in endowment insurance. This thesis starts with the conception statement of pensions in privately. In the second part, the thesis introduces the reasons of pensions in privately. Then, there is a comparison of this mechanism implemented in different countries. In the fourth part, it is a study of the theory, which refers to private ownership's basic principle. Finally, the thesis draws an integration of theory with practice, namely, according to the attributes of our country, such as population aging and less developed country, it is advisable for us to carry out the pension in nominally.
