Research On Sustainable Development Of Coal Mineral Type City

Coal mineral type cities are the outcome of long-term central-planned economic system. These cities have become bases of energy and make great contribution to country economy and development of society. However, with exploitation of many years, some problems arise in these cities, such as exhausted resources, economic recession and outstanding social contradiction. So it's priority of resolving sustainable development in coal mineral typed cities during establishing well-being society in our country. This paper carries through a study on sustained development of coal mineral typed city.This paper starts from the points of formation, current status and characters of coal mineral typed cities, and analyzes the major challenges and problems faced by these cities. Then, after an evaluation and analysis of international sustained development theories, and based on analysis of factors in sustained development, model of frame and index system of sourced-typed city in sustained development have been established. Continually, this paper provides countermeasure for coal mineral typed city in sustained development. At last, taking Jixi city of Heilongjiang Province as an example, from the respects, such as economy, society, population, resource and environment, etc, the current situation of sustainable development to Jixi city is appraised, and the countermeasures are put forward. The research of this paper will help to understand the level and trends of coal mineral typed city in sustained development and choose suitable development strategy for coal mineral typed in sustained development.
