| As a public service system, infrastructure assures socio-economics of well-balanced development and has a close relationship with whole advantage of national economics. It is a basis of all the socio-economics departments which bring into play, especially the infrastructure in cities, which connects with city economics, sustainable development of society and citizen's life quality nearly. Infrastructure in city needs a huge investment, and its engineering capacity is also stupendous,so the construction impact of it is far-reaching. It is necessary for us to study the investment efficiency of infrastucure in cities deeply.At the began of this paper, the relationship between infrastructure and national economics was introduced. And then, the investment efficiency study in china and foreign country was summarized. After the presentation of Total Factor Productivity evolvement and some ways used to compute it, we stressed analyzing and solving of the malmquist index of TFP(Total Factor Productivity)which we prefer to use. The main research objects in the paper core part of mine is 11 cities belong to Hebei Province, and on the basis of analysis and comparison about all kinds of infrastructure investment in cities in Hebei Province, we research the infrastructure investment efficiency by malmquist–DEA.At the end of the paper, we discussed infrastructure investment condition and development in future in china including investment strategy choice, financing choice and constructing prospect of infrastructure with considering its sustainable development. We think sustainable infrastructure in city is crucial to the development of city itself.In order to realize the sustainable of cities, the first step we should take is to construct infrastructure sufficiently, and for the dependence and restriction between different establishment, it is important to arrange the investment ratio reasonably among them to improve them in phase. |
