| Since reform and open policy, our country economy develops rapidly, The private economy grows strongly. However, as for the core of the national economy, , the participation of private capital is very low. in the financial system Along with the deepening of reform and opening to the development of private economy. The existing banking system has restricted the development of private economy. From the sense of the development of the private bank, it can enhance the competitiveness off the national commercial banks and cope with the challenges of foreign banks .In recent years, the appeal has been getting higher and higher to the establishment of private banks.This thesis collected and compiled economic theories about the private banks, defining the concept of private banks, and studied on the possibility of the existence and difficulties for the development of private banks.This thesis is divided into five chapters with the brief introductions individually as follows:Chapter 1:In the light of the predecessors'research results, private bank is defined as follows: private bank is the share of private capital over 50% of the total equity. It is subject to the"PRC Commercial Banking Law"and other relevant laws and is supervised by the financial authorities.All discussions in this paper are based on the above concept.Chapter 2:This thesis provides two kinds of theories with Chinese present condition of financial reform.
