The business cycles have been concerned by people since the first economic crisis happened in 1825 in England .When it happened .people suffered a lot of difficulty . So it is very important to study the reasons and characteristics of business cycles under new conditions.The thesis is expounded from four parts:The first part: The business cycles are the notable characteristic of economy growth, and exploring his law is an important subject of economics circle. Up to the present, western economics have various theories about the cause of the business cycles, and this text puts forward the analysis of economic period based on income - payout theory. .The causes are from producing and consuming.The second part : The United States is regarded one of the economic powerful nations on the world now, and going deep into the new characteristic of business cycles is very important beyond doubt. The information technique, modern financial system, macro policy and economic globalization are the main four factors of new economy in the United States. The American business cycles which is under new economy conditions have three characteristics : the prospering period was extended , the declining period was shortened the extension and decline to expect to shorten and the range was reduced.The third part : on the base of business cycles theories , I analyze the causes of the United States, and the causes are the information technology , improving rate of production appropriate macro policy and economic globalization.The forth part :The thesis points out the apocalypse of United States business cycles to China: The first is to develop the information technology strongly .another is to reform continuously , third is to improve macro policy .The thesis applied qualitative and quantitative analysis , also applied theories and evidence analyzing , and I try to draw a scientific and dependable conclusion.
