Development Of The Regional Small-Medium Banks Or Financial Institutes

The characters of Chinese banking system reform have made smaller succeed, but it is also the restriction confronted smaller-banks. When the four big banks change their operating tactics, the regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes face the more market space.In this paper, the author want to use the theory of Industry Structure to study the Chinese regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes in deep end and try to offer a theoretic precondition for Chinese banking system reformation in a new era.This paper have five parts to study this topic. The first part shows the background meanings and structure of this paper. According to it, we will have the simple understand of this research. The second part defines the notion of the regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes, and introduce the theory of the financial supply particularity of the regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes and of the market positioning.The third and forth parts are estimate parts. The third part uses the Industry Consolidation to analysis the status of the bank scale structure, but the result shows that though the shares of the small-banks increase, the consolidation of our banking industry is still higher. In the forth part, after comparing the role, growing mode and management efficiency between large banks and smaller ones, the author points out the core of smaller-banks development is the interaction between smaller-banks and community, financial demand of small-medium businesses and the residents is their leading exercise space.The last part is the conclusion of this paper. In this part we will analysis the market positioning direction of the regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes in China and propose the policy suggestion of the regional smaller-medium banks or financial institutes.
