The Research On Information System Planning For Investment Project Management In A Port Group

Investment activity is a momentum of pulling Port Group to achieve leapfrog development, is the basis of forming the core competitiveness of Port Group. Port Group as an important part of an international cargo supply chain, the investment management information level is still relatively low, affected the Group's port competitiveness to some extent. To the port corporations, informatization construction can help them extremely increase their competencies in the market. In addition, informatization construction can push these companies to normalize their management practices and modernize their operations.This paper introduces the domestic and foreign investment project management of information technology status and management of investment projects related theory. Taking the Guangzhou Port Group as example, combined investment project management theory, the author analyzed the investment informatization and the business processes of the Guangzhou Port, in this condition, the author optimize the existing business process, and the analysis the data process of the investment management.The author proposed an integrative architecture of the management information system for investment management, which is combined with the situations of Guangzhou Port Corporation's informatization construction. Furthermore, the author focused on the realities of the port and provided the corresponding data interface strategies.Later, the authors discussed the two key issues of port investment management information — coding problems and input and output.At last, author makes a conclusion of the work that has done in this paper, bring forward some insufficiency in the research and envision of the research in the future.
