This paper is based on the new thing— campus credit card, discuss its characters and management methods. The article analyses the particularity of campus credit card risks from the particularity of students themselves and students' income sources, consumption structure and consumption values etc, which makes the largest risk is credit risk. The text emphasizes the education among family, school and society, which breaks the traditional management way of just thinking from the bank.The first chapter introduces campus credit card, describes present conditions, also literature summary.The second chapter explains campus credit card— one sort of campus cards, describes its emerging, evolution, presence and functions. Next, the text explains the purpose of issuing campus credit card and makes it meaningful to both banks and students.The third chapter analyses campus credit card risks. From the perspectives of students and bank respectively, text analyses students' income sources, consumption structures and values using data and documents, and points out the important card risk is campus credit risk. The fourth chapter poses the risk management ways in internal bank management and external environment construction. Banks carry on before, possession and after management. Government, society and schools strengthen credit and responsibility education. Students should realize the importance of credit and maintain themselves credit recordings.The article points out that risk management is not risk avoidance, but seeks for the most profits. So the principle of risk management is looking for the most effective combination between risks and revenue to get more gains using fewer costs.Students are mainstream people in future society. Punishment is not the best method. Banks should realize their social obligation and help students form correct values with schools, at the meantime, foster their potential customers and improve with them altogether.
