Research On The Economic Growth Based On The Industry Clusters Of The Bohai Delta

As a base of manufacture, the Bohai Delta has increasingly played a very important role on the process of China's industrialization. And the phenomenon of industry cluster is profoundly affecting the development of the world's economy. More and more countries or areas take the industry cluster model as their development strategy in order to speed up the enterprise development and promote the local economy growth and industrialization. Therefore, we studied the economic growth of Bohai Delta so as to put forward some sound suggestions on the basis of the theory of industry cluster.To begin with, we studied the relationship between the market integration, the regional specialization and the industry cluster, mainly based on the analysis frame of Krugman's new economic geography theory.Secondly, we studied the effect of industry clusters on the economic growth based on the investigation on the literature about industrial clusters theory and economic growth theory. And we conclude the economic growth model about agglomeration and regional economic growth and explain the mechanism of the effect of industrial clusters on the local economic growth.Moreover, this article makes an empirical analysis on the level of the Industrial clusters of the Bohai Delta, estimates the cluster elasticity making use of the model of panel data, and makes a brief analyses on the reason for the differences between the Bohai delta,the Yangtze delta and the Pearl delta.Lastly, we tried to put forward to some policy suggestions on the basis of the industrial clusters theory so as to promote the economic growth of the Bohai Delta.
