| As the result of the rapid development of knowledge economy, Knowledge intensive business service (KIBS) plays an important role in the industry structures of social economy, because of its intangibility, specialization, knowledge, high value-added, efficiency, high technology, etc. KIBS has taken the responsibility of new knowledge creation and re-assignment, stands the lead and driving function in state economy. It's also the main field of innovation. But KIBS in our country has dropped behind, independence innovation is weak, technology only contributes a little to the growth of economy. To a certain degree, the rapid growth of economy all depends on the extensive input of natural resources, capital, labour, etc. If we still go along with the old pattern of economy growth, it's no doubt that we will face the restrictions of economy growth.KIBS should be put as the first place instead of industry and agriculture in order to change the pattern of economy growth quickly. Through the innovations of idea, production (service), technology, organization, system, management, market and culture, the pattern of economy growth will changed from extensivism to intensivism. This paper is aimed to make the key function of KIBS and innovation clear and also bring forward some suggestions for changing the pattern of economy growth.It introduces the basic knowledge of innovation and pattern of economy growth, expounds the status of development and innovation of KIBS, analyses the relationship between innovation of KIBS and changing the pattern of economy growth. Set up a model according to Cob-Douglas production functions, empirically analyses the proportion of technology and innovation in the contribution of economy growth. The result is that technology and innovation has contributed more than capital and labour. It advocates that KIBS should be the top-priority policy, improve the capability of independent innovation and change the pattern of economy growth in a rapid way. |
