Researches About The Way How Income Disparities Between Urban And Rural People In Beijing Affect The Local Economy

Since the opening policy carried into execution, the economy in China develops rapidly, and people's general life level has been improved greatly, but in the same time, the income disparities between different people are increasing steadily and steadily. Income disparity ,especially the big gap between urban and rural people, has absorb great attention in recent years. In the partial aspect, it directly restricts individual's consumption and investment needs and abilities; in the whole perspective, not only it can affects the growing economy's quality of a country or a district,but also does a influence on one's political stabilization and social development.Beijing is one of our national economic and culture centre,and keeps a favorable development in the recent years,but it also has many secret worries. For example,the bigger and bigger income disparities between urban and rural people,the weaker and weaker consumption and investment needs,the more and more difficulties in finding a new growing point......Obviously,as "carriages who drive the economy",consumption and investment do has the impel effect to economy,and in the logic way,the income disparities between urban and rural people influence the consumption and investment in some way.Therefor,whether we can quantitatively analyze the way how income disparities effect the economy,and how consumption and investment drive the economy?This thesis chooses the data reflecting information of beijing's consumption,investment,income and economy growing conditions since the opening policy. Through qualitative analysis, combining some advanced quantitative methods,such as ADF test,co-integration test,Granger test,make VECM and ordinary linear model according the details, so as to describe the total process of the income disparities between the urban and rural people in Beijing affect the economy through consumption and investment need.The results prove that,the income disparities between urban and rural people restrict the consumption's increasing in the short and long run,but more distinct effect in the short run,weaker in the long run. The urban people have higher average consumption trend,lower marginal consumption trend;the urban-rural disparities drive the global capital assets investment in the short run,but do a reverse effect in the long run.The economy's quantity growth relies on kinds of investment,and the loans from financial organization play a important role;However,the quality growth rests on the increasing of final consumption and loans from financial organization. To sum up,the urban-rural income disparities do influence the quality of economy through consumption and investment.
