JMI Faced To Supply Chain Management

As Internet, ERP and e-business are used in enterprises, the competition mold of them is essentially changed, the competition of market has become to the competition of supply chain in 21^st century. Every enterprise at the link point of supply chain can share the information and resources, and inter influence to realize the goal of predominance of each other. So it can supply more and more production and service to the market, in order to boost up market. To an enterprise, how to setup and maintain a rational inventory level, is a big problem that enterprise must solve in order to balance the risk and loss because of the lack or overabundance of inventory. Most enterprise brings forward techniques and methods of inventory management. But these years a more practical method is jointly managed inventory. This paper will introduce and analyses this method.This paper expounds JMI which faced to supply chain management, introduce the notion of supply chain and supply chain management, describe several methods of inventory control, explain the abuse of traditional inventory control and the advantage of JMI, at last put out the inherit method of multi-inventory model.
