Research On Safety Culture Cultivation Of Construction Enterprises

Fostering the construction of security culture is a gradual process which needs our long-term efforts. During the process, we should try our best to make it an indispensable part of people's life and work. The construction of security culture plays a significant role in the development of construction enterprises. Therefore, such enterprises, from the strategic point of view, should fully realize the importance and necessity of the construction of security culture and push the work forward steadily, thus making it function from its real sense.This paper, starting form background introduction, illustrates significance of safety culture cultivation in enhancing the competence and prompting the development of construction enterprises steadily.Subsequently, this thesis states the basic theory of safety culture, deducing the meaning of safety culture of construction from 2 aspects: physical safety culture and mental safety culture. By analyzing the problems existing in safety management of China's construction enterprises, learning the experience of construction of safety culture in some foreign countries, and making a deep analysis of input and output of the building of construction safety culture by demonstration, the thesis also makes the conclusion that construction safety culture is very important to the enterprises. It is also concluded that construction enterprises should strengthen investigation for safety culture. In the third part, the thesis analyses the input and output of safety culture cultivation, puts forward the basic definition, composition of safety culture cultivation, and concretely sets the calculative methods of safety culture cultivation. At the same time, this thesis analyses the loss of safety accidents, pointing out that such loss consists of two parts: direct loss and indirect loss. In the last part of this chapter, the thesis evaluates the profits of safety culture cultivation and demonstrates this point with a detailed case. In the fourth part of the thesis, the author considers that safety culture in construction enterprises should be made up of four basic contents: material, action, system and spirit and four levels: enterprise, program, middle-management of program and workers, thus creating all kinds of modes for such enterprises to foster their safety culture cultivation.In the end, by analyzing the basic rules that safety culture cultivation should be performed form the point of people's interest, self-remolding, leadership-first and characteristics centered, the thesis suggests that when a construction enterprises is building the safety culture, it is of key importance for them to give some pieces ofadvice on how to establish the safety culture based on larger investigation on safety management, scheme some programs in construction field, make clear the responsibilities of respective parties, enlarge the investment for safety and further strengthen the function of safety programs.
