Serving as vital raw material of food , medicine ,and feed of husbandry, its demand was big.2.The investigation result indicated that, several problems existed in the development of minor grain crops in Yulin. First, cultivar, primarily traditional varieties ,was humdrum and serious degenerated; Second, the scale and intensification were not formed, and planting was concerned, but management ignored. Cultivation and management lagged behind ,leading to low and unstable yield; Third ,processing scale of agronomic products was small, technology backward, product attachment value low, comprehensive utilization effect undesirable; Fourth, products, supply and demand were not well integrated, which was the major hindrance for the development of minor grain crops industry .3.Through investigation and analysis, countermeasures were proposed that ,first, screen and introduce good variety, positively develop the crossbreeding, purify and rejuvenate superior family variety, reduce the breeding cycle of good variety; Second , develop research on cultivation to match region and variety, and realize the standardization of minor grain crops production; Third , improve processing technology , method, and scale, embark on the research on basic and applied technology of processing .Fourth, integrate company, base and peasant household, vigorously carry out this pattern, integrate products, supply and demand.Investigation and analysis of the present situation of minor grain crops industry , feasible countermeasure could steer the industry toward health development, promote agriculture structure adjustment and rural economy development, increase the income of farmer, realize sustainable development of minor grain crops industry.
