As one of the strongest provinces in economic developing of China, Guangdong is faced with the problems of the shortage of soil, energy resource, water resource and raw materials. With the continuous rise of the price of labour, the increasing cost of preventing environment pollution and the adjustment of exchange rate, the industry development of Guangdong is encountering the challenge of high cost. How to solve these problems is a hotspot topic in academia.Based on the introduction to the trend of international industrial development and the characteristics of the industry of Guangdong, the thesis analyzes the problems and challenges that industry is faced with ,and puts forward the key measure to the industrial transition of Guangdong is to reconstruct the traditional industry and form new one, to change the pattern of the industry development, to improve the competitive competence, and to make the industry development match up the trend of the international one depending on the scientific and technologic innovation.Therefore, strengthening the function of the scientific and technologic innovation is an advisable approach to solve the problems and challenges in essence, an essential drive to promote the adjustment of the industrial structure and the industrial transition and to realize the continuable development and the leading role in whole nation.
