As the rapid development of China's economy, China has entered into the period that more and more international economic frictions arise. And the increasing economic frictions will influence the long-term and steady development of China's economy. Meanwhile, EU has become China's 1st trade partner in the world at the end of 2004. Under this circumstance, it is very necessary to analyze the economic frictions between China and EU, and to find effective solutions to get these frictions solved. The thesis deeply analyzes the development of the economic frictions between China and EU, introduces the various forms and features of these frictions such as anti-dumping, TBT, intellectual property, GSP and so on. On this basis, the thesis analyzes causes of these frictions in both EU aspect and China aspect. After analyzing necessity and feasibility of getting theses frictions solved, the thesis brings forward the suggestions.The thesis is divided into six main parts. (1) Explains the research background, main content and research purpose of the thesis. (2) Expatiates the development of international economic frictions. (3) Introduces the economic development of China by using a series of data, and then points out the inevitability of encounter of international economic frictions for China. (4) Firstly introduces the development and present situation of economic relationship between China and EU; and then analyzes main causes of economic frictions between China and EU after introducing the forms and features of these frictions. (5) After analyzing necessity and feasibility of getting theses frictions solved, it brings forward the suggestions. The suggestions include: reduces the China's surplus to EU as much as possible; actively responds to prosecutions of anti-dumping; attaches more importance to intellectual property problems; adapts to new arrangement of EU's GSP; expands new bilateral investment between China and EU. (6) Gives a summary to the whole thesis and points out the clear future development tendency which is "Comprehensive Partnership" between China and EU.
