Research On Solutions Of The Third-party Reverse Logistics In EC

Electronic commerce is in the period of reverse logistics after forward logistics. More and more customers are considering the service of returning products which is offered by suppliers on line when they choose their suppliers, and this service can even affect the final decision. However, many suppliers on line don't realize that this service is very important to win their customers. One hand, even through some companies understand this point, they also can't deal with reverse logistics because of the lack of comprehension on reverse logistics and the limit of human resource and finance. On the other hand, although the third-party logistics companies start to develop this new market when they have reached saturation point in logistics of retail, as no theory guide and no experience, they can only think about it but do nothing. Therefore, this article offers a series of solutions for companies in EC and the third-party logistics companies.First of all, correct attitude for companies in EC about the importance of reverse logistics in EC, set up the strategic position of reverse logistics, analyze the characters of EC reverse logistics and its problems, and compare the modes of EC reverse logistics to find advantages of third-party logistics companies.Secondly, on the base of classification of EC reverse logistics and a game model of the need, I make sure again that reverse logistics is the best choose for EC companies when customers more and more attach importance to suppliers' reverse logistics, and create a decision model of third-party entering the market of EC reverse logistics.Then there is a core of the thesis-analyzing solutions of third-party reverselogistics in EC. In this section, I predict some risks of third-party reverse logistics in EC firstly, tell how to take precaution, and list several methods of choosing third-party logistics companies, especially parse analytic hierarchy process (AHP). At the end of this section, I discuss the operation of reverse logistics in EC for third-party logistics companies.
