The Research On The Efficiency And It's Dynamic Change Of Commercial Bank

In the financial system which finances mainly by indirect method, China's commercial banks play a decisive role. However, after China joining the WTO,the gradual opening up of the domestic financial sector, China's commercial banking industry will also face unprecedented challenges. Successfully coping the challenge lies in raising competitiveness. Efficiency is the concentrated expression of competition ability in the banking sector, so that increasing the efficiency is crucial to win the challenge. This paper studies the efficiency of commercial banks in China, which has both significant theory value and important practical significance.In recent years, the domestic scholars apply the research technique abroad to yield certain results of commercial bank efficiency, but the assessment method is insufficiently perfect for the lack of the system research and comparative analysis. In this article, the authors use two parameter methods and one non-parameter method separately to measure the commercial banks'efficiency level of our country and analysis the efficiency level measure result. We obtain persuasive results which are helpful to the perfection of the efficiency appraisal system for commercial banks.The thesis is composed of four chapters. In chapter 1, the background and the current situations in the field are generalized , the goal and the thoughts are briefly introduced as well; In chapter 2, I outline the bank efficiency, the efficiency classification and the methods ; In chapter 3, I carry on the measure based on the recursion thick front analytic method and the distribution free analysis method two parameter method to 14 commercial banks'efficiency level, and get the corresponding order according to the measure results; In chapter 4, the measure based on the non-parameter method—data envelope analytic method are carried on to commercial bank's efficiency level, and the rank correlation coefficient is applied to compare the places of commercial bank efficiency level which are obtained separately by three methods. In section 3 of this chapter, Malmquist productivity change index are introduced, the application data envelope law is carried on the measure to the commercial bank productivity change; In chapter 5, the regression model is constructed, the factor that influence commercial banks'efficiency is analyzed, and some suggestions are given to enhance the bank efficiency.The innovations of this article mainly display in the following three aspects: first,...
