With the acceleration of urbanization and the elevated level of city, population dimensions mount up incessantly, as well as the ceaseless aggrandizement of the city's economic dimensions. That comes with the highly requirement for more and more land. We should ensure the supply of construct land, so we have to usurp on a lot of farmland, especially on the plantation. Our country has a huge population but with little land. So we will meet with a great problem about food and construction. The pop topic of "City Land Intensive Use" will solve the problem stage by stage. Now the systemic evaluation is a new way to solve the problem macroscopically.First of all, I describe the systemic evaluation of land use theoretically. Then I analyze the status of land use in Nantong city. After I investigate the model of land use , I evaluate the use of Nantong systemically. There are six chapters in my dissertation. The first Chapter is to introduce the main research of the article. Research background and meaning are narrated in this chapter, then the research way and structure of paper are introduced. The basic theories related with land intensive use are looked backed in the second chapter; there is continual development theory, systemic theory, district theory and the decreasing recompense theory. I also analyze the connection and the guidance between them. In the third chapter, I introduce Nantong city from the geography, circumstance and the economy. There is some subsistent constructional land in the city, more than one reason curse this.In the forth chapter, I evaluate the intensive use of Nantong city systemically. First I construct the model and guide line system, which has aim tiers, function tiers and guide tiers. Then I count the heft of each line. In the chapter, the Nantong city is put in a huge district, where cities influence each other. I quantificationally analyse the grade of land use at the end of the chapter.
