| Against the background of two development tendencies: global economy integration and regional economy collectivization, China government brought forward " going out" strategy — encourage those direct investment to foreign countries that can exert Chinese comparative advantage or competitive advantage, support China enterprises to realize multinational management and international development. ASEAN countries are near to China in location and have kindred cultural background; as the most important countries group, ASEAN are the great market; China and ASEAN countries have different advantages in the resources, technology and industrial structure, so each partner have a great quantity of cooperative opportunities. With the constant expansion and deepening of economy and trade relation, especially in the opportunity of building China-ASEAN free trade area, China enterprises raise the upsurge of investment to ASEAN. ASEAN countries have become the important investment destination countries for China enterprises. The main purpose of this dissertation is to put forward beneficial suggestions and countermeasures for China to optimize investment distribution in different industries in ASEAN countries. This dissertation probes into the problem of the China's direct investment to ASEAN countries based on industry selection. Firstly, using the main FDI theories as reference and discussing the theoretical gist of China's direct investment to ASEAN; secondly, making a conclusion and comment on the present status of industries' distribution of China's direct investment to ASEAN; thirdly, considering the integration of China and ASEAN's industries' characteristics, advantages and perspectives, summarizing the criteria of industry selection for China's direct investment to ASEAN and indicating the main industries which China should select; finally, raising the countermeasures and proposals to optimize the present status on the basis of anatomizing the problems of industries' selection and distribution of China's direct investment to ASEAN. |
