A Synergetic Study On Science And Technology Innovation System Of Undeveloped Regions

This thesis, oriented by current strategies of the Harmonious Society fashioning, Innovative Nation Construction and New Socialist rural areas Development, conducts a study on the science and technology innovation system of undeveloped regions, so that academic foundation and practical reference point are provided. Indeed, to realize the great progress of undeveloped regions, their productivity should be boosted favorably and fast, whose core is of the buildup of their science and technology innovative capability, which further is decided by developing and perfecting of its institution. Specifically, guiding by the synergetic theory, the thesis manage to address the key issues to improve and perfect the institutions of undeveloped regions, and made following contributions:(i) The concept of regional science and technology innovation system is proposed, while its connotation is also described. In detail, a regional science and technology innovation system is a sub-system or a component of a national (or upper) system of such kind, which is a open organized network made up of enterprises, colleges or universities, scientific research institutions, governmental organizations and scientific intermediaries. The mission of such a system is to boost the innovation of science and technology in the region, and further improve the efficiency of transforming the innovative results into productivities, so that the development of social economy in the region can be hastened. Therefore, it is institution deployment of employing science and technology to improve social economy development in the region.
